Once, there were eight great dragons who aided in protecting the realm from evil. Over countless millennia, they faded into nothing but memory, leaving the land exposed and vulnerable to darkness.
But Candra doesn’t care about any of that, because she has her own problems. She and her half-brother, Kraster, are under orders to infiltrate a small town and locate a powerful relic. While searching, Candra meets a unique and mysterious being who sends her on a quest to save the world.
Struggling with acceptance (due to being a half-breed) and a drinking problem (also due to being a half-breed), Candra can’t imagine she is worthy or capable of the task. Still, she is determined to give the quest her all.
The adventure that follows is equal parts epic and hilarious as she and her companions struggle to complete their mission and solve the mystery of what happened to the great dragons of old.
