But Candra doesn’t care about any of that, because she has her own problems. She and her half-brother, Kraster, are under orders to infiltrate a small town and locate a powerful relic. While searching, Candra meets a unique and mysterious being who sends her on a quest to save the world.

Struggling with acceptance (due to being a half-breed) and a drinking problem (also due to being a half-breed), Candra can’t imagine she is worthy or capable of the task. Still, she is determined to give the quest her all.

The adventure that follows is equal parts epic and hilarious as she and her companions struggle to complete their mission and solve the mystery of what happened to the great dragons of old.

Candra now cares deeply about the fate of the great dragons. Despite their best efforts, a trail of destruction seems to follow her and her companions wherever they go, as they are chased across the realm by evil forces. The only hope they have to stop the bloodshed and save the world is to finish gathering eight magical stones, each with a unique power.

However, Char, an ancient creature of darkness, is also seeking the stones. Her agents are everywhere, hidden in plain sight, which does nothing to help Candra’s trust issues.

With time running out, Candra must face the most painful parts of her past if there is to be any hope for the future.​​​
